Jose is an active mountaineer, climber, skier and mountain biker. He holds the official certificate as a Mountain Guide and is member of the  Spanish Mountain Guide Association (AEGM) and the Union of International Mountain Leader Associations (UIMLA). Growing up near Sierra Nevada, Granada, Jose's love for mountains has always been a major part of his life and he has taken many opportunities to explore mountain regions around the world. Over the past decade Jose has developed his skills as a guide and instructor while working in the outdoor industry in Alps and Spanish mountains.

Participating in expeditions to the Pamir Mountains, Lenin and Korjenevskaya peaks. Jose has several ascents to peaks over four thousand meters in Alpes (MontBlanc, Gran Paradiso, Dom Mischabel, ...), Andes (Huescarán, Misti, ...) and Moroccan Atlas (Toubkal, Mgoum, ...). Climbing almost every over three thousands peak in Pyrenees and Sierra Nevada in winter and summer conditions. Trekking in the Himalaya, Norway, Andes, Alps and Pyrenees.
